I saw... I learn...

o I saw strong woman with a gas stove on top of her head

I learnt that woman do not have equality and carry out hard work tasks

o I saw little kids swimming happily in the sea and playing with foreigners

I learnt that children are trusting and vulnerable or at risk

o I saw happy African people and smiling faces, friendly!

I learnt that their smiles hide their poverty

o I saw selling and buying in the busy traffic

I learnt how hard it is to earn money

o I saw the popularity of Coca-Cola in developing countries!

I learnt how multi national companies have a powerful monopoly and make money from poor people

o I saw many things in Ghana

I learnt many things about myself and how I might play a role there in the future

Say Hello to the World

Want to be remembered or doesn't care?

I managed to write a song while I was in Ghana. This is the version singing and performing by the Ghanaian children! The best!

sunshine bright in the morning
little birds flying in the sky
flowers dancing with the wind
take a breath and let start to sing

taking tro-tro to Bojo beach
swimming and making sandcastle
laughing and cheering with my friends
happy day happy life begin

say hello to the world
open your eyes open your mind
nothing to lose when you try
yeah yeah

say hello to the world
sharing the love together
let's pray for peace forever
yeah yeah

ps: amazed by the Ghanaian children ability to learn songs!
